Seven of Hearts Game Rules

1. Eligibility

This game is open to the public and is only limited by age. To be eligible to play, you must have reached your eighteenth birthday. Any minor (those who have not reached their 18th birthday) that may possess a purchased ticket, that ticket will be declared void.

2. Rules for the Seven of Hearts

The 7 of Hearts is a weekly progressive raffle. St. Leonard Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. 7, Inc (SLVFD) will utilize the Seven of Hearts sealed Raffle Board. The board represents a standard 52-pack of playing cards with two jokers. Tickets shall be mixed and drawn in public or on live video feed. The drawing shall also occur in public view and/or on a live video feed.

1. 1. All raffle tickets are $5.00 per ticket (cash only). There is no limit on the number of tickets that may be purchased.
   2. Tickets may be purchased at Sunset Creek at Veras, 1200 White Sand Drive, Lusby, MD anytime during business hours.
   3. There can only be one name per ticket. Each ticket must include the following:
      1. LEGAL FIRST AND LAST NAME (No nicknames, aliases, or abbreviations).
      2. Contact phone number, which includes area code.
      3. Card number of choice.
      4. Each ticket must include the above information, otherwise, the ticket will be invalid, and another ticket will be chosen.

4. Tickets can be purchased up to ten minutes before the drawing. Tickets for the following week may be purchased thirty minutes after the drawing.
5. The drawing will take place every Thursday between 7:00 - 7:15 pm at Sunset Creek at Veras. 
6. Players need not to be present to win.
7. The total prize pool will continue to accumulate weekly until the Seven of Hearts is drawn. The prize amount is based on ticket sales.
8. If the Seven of Hearts is drawn from the raffle board, the holder (purchaser) will win 60% and SLVFD, CO. 7,  will retain 35% and 5% will be used to start the next game.
9. If the Seven of Hearts is NOT drawn, the pot rolls over to the next week.
10. Once a card is selected, it will be removed from play and shown face-up on the board. Each week after the drawing, all tickets for that week’s drawing will be destroyed. Tickets purchased for that week will only be valid for that week’s drawing.
11. If the selected winning ticket for the week has a card number that has already been turned, we will make a single attempt to call the ticket holder to ask which card they would like flipped. If unable to reach the ticket holder a member of SLVFD, CO. 7, will flip a random card
12. The pot will continue to build until the Seven of Hearts is drawn. Once Seven of Hearts has been drawn the board will no longer be in play.
13. Only participants holding a US Social Security Card may win any amount greater than $600.00. All persons winning $600 or more at one drawing must comply with IRS income tax reporting and complete necessary IRS Forms before winnings are paid. NO PRIZE will be paid until the W2Gif formation is provided. If the winner is unable or unwilling to provide the information required, the prize will revert to SLVFD.
14. Any winner not claiming their prize within thirty calendar days will forfeit said prize.
15. If your ticket is drawn and you draw a pay card, you will receive the pay card prize and the prize for that stage ticket drawing.

Payout Stages Based on the Amount in the Jackpot
