On 1/12/2024 at 0358 hours, Company 7 was dispatched to the 4500 block of Camp Roosevelt Drive for the Working Structure Fire. Engine 71 (Lt. Weems), Tanker 7, and Rehab 7 (Curry-Flynt) responded. First arriving units confirmed heavy fire showing on several sides of the 2-story house. Engine 71 arrived and operated as the first due engine company, putting three attack lines in service. Firefighters conducted defensive operations, due to collapsing conditions inside. Crews operated on the scene until 0900. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
