The heart felt words THANK YOU doesn't even come close to sounding sufficient for what was done for my family while on scene at the house fire in Prince Frederick this morning. All members who were on-scene poured their whole hearts into saving the house and dogs. Although one dog didn't survive, we greatly appreciate the strong effort put in trying to do so. The high level of compassion and professionalism were class act and meant a lot to my family and I. Thank you again and stay safe while on calls.

We are from Huntingtown but waited to see the Saint Leonard fire department Santa run tonight. Everyone was awesome. My 2-year-old grandson was in awe of all the fire trucks, rescue squads and most of all Santa. You all outdid yourselves and I can't begin to tell you how many children you touched tonight. You do a lot for the community and St Leonard is very lucky to have you.

I would like to extend my most heartfelt gratitude to the gentleman that were on duty Tuesday afternoon 12/21/21around 300pm. I was driving myself to Calvert Hospital not knowing if I was suffering a heart attack or a severe anxiety attack, it kept getting worse so I figured it was safest to stop at the rescue squad than to continue driving. They took me right in and offered to check my vitals, put me in the ambulance and took me the rest of the way to the hospital safely. Most of all, I want to say THANK YOU so much to Chad Lankford for the exceptional compassion he had toward me and making sure I knew what my vitals meant and just talking to me and calming me down and understanding my fears and letting me know that I was going to be ok. Thank you to all of you for your services to the community. What an outstanding group.

I was just up there Friday June 4th and the two firefighters on duty were at their utmost respect and showed remarkable hospitality when giving us the station and apparatus tour and I greatly appreciate it.

There isn't enough words to express my gratitude to Danny Baker. A 911 call was made for a 24 yr old female unresponsive at my house. When medics arrived my daughter was not responsive. Danny was able to give her NARCAN an bring her back. With the sudden passing of my husband. Another death would of been more then I could bare.
Thank you for the hard work and dedication. Keep it up and stay safe!

Still have fond memories of everyone at SLVFD, helping to build old Squad 7. My experience at Co 7 as well as PGFD Co 26 VFD and MFRI had me elected Chief of the VFD in Wyoming for several years. Had to learn new things like wildland firefighting as well as a first due area of over 25 Sq miles. Some areas took over 1/2 hour to drive to. Did not have the fancy equipment as SLVFD, we had a Ford attack engine, then a brush unit and a 6x6 converted wildland truck. Encampment/Riverside VFD was part of the Carbon County, WY VFD.

I just wanted to say you all have a Beautiful Page and Great Fund Raising Ideas !!! And it looks like your Department has something for everyone in your community. I come from third generation Firefighter and we used to have Carnivals for fundraising when I was a baby. Now they barely go thru with Santa on the Truck. I am delighted to see a Fire Department so involved with the Community it Protects. That is a very Rare thing to see these days. Thank you

Our sincere gratitude to all who responded to the motor vehicle accident we were involved in on Sunday, June 28th at 11:00 a.m. on Rt. 4 South (south of Ball Rd). My husband and I felt we were treated like VIPs! We will never forget your kindnesses and professionalism. We are healing, although today were are sore from being rocked and rolled in the car. But, it certainly could have been much worse. ( A p.s.: One of your members, a young man, mentioned a concert to us. He asked me if we liked country music. Please let us know more about this as I did not catch his name. Thank you for everything - Pam and Ray Crawford
