Peg’s volunteer service spanned over 60 years beginning with the Ladies Auxiliary to the Morningside VFD (Life Member), the Ladies Auxiliary to the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association, the Ladies Auxiliary to the Solomons VFD, the Ladies Auxiliary to the Southern Maryland Volunteer Fireman’s Association with Hall of Fame induction in 2000 and the Ladies Auxiliary to the Maryland State Firefighters Association with Hall of Fame induction in 2010. Peg served on numerous committees, had been the Chaplain for the LA-SMVFA and served as the Company 7 Alarmers President and Secretary.
