On October 9th, 2017 at 1243 hours, St. Leonard VFD was dispatched to the 3800 block of Sixes Road in Prince Frederick for the Kitchen Fire. Immediately Chief 7B, Engine 71, and Tanker 7 responded. Co.2 units arrived on scene to find a two-story single family dwelling with smoke showing. Co.2 units found a small fire located in the laundry room and quickly extinguished it. Co 7 units then assisted in checking for extension above, ventilation, and overhauling the dwelling. Co.7 units operated for approximately one hour.
