On Thursday, October 8, several members took apparatus to the St. Leonard Elementary School. The members taught fire prevention to the kindergarten students and showed the tools and equipment on Squad 7, Engine 71, and Ambulance 79. The students had the opportunity to get inside the apparatus and see a firefighter wearing a full set of turnout gear to allow them to become familiar in the event of an emergency.
