On August 11th, 2018 at approximately 0638 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to the 13000 block of Mills Creek Drive for the house fire. Chief 7, Safety 7A, Engine 71, and Tanker 7 immediately responded. 1st arriving units from Solomons VRSFD gave an initial report of fire showing in the rear from a single family home with extension into the attic. Engine 71 as the 2nd arriving Engine assisted Co.3 units with extinguishing the fire while Tanker 7 assisted in maintaining a water supply. Ultimately St. Leonard units operated for approximately two hours before clearing the fire ground. Safety 7A held the "Mills Creek Drive" command.
