On Thursday, July 5th, 2018 at approximately 1854 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to Southbound Route. 4 in the area of Coster Road for the serious auto accident. Chief 7A, Squad 7, and Ambulance 77 immediately responded. While en-route, 1st arriving units from SVRSFD found a two-vehicle t-bone style collision with one trapped. Ambulance 77 transported one stable patient to CHMC while both Rescue Squad's extracted one serious but stable patient. The extracted patient was ultimately transferred to Trooper 7 and transported to a local trauma center. St. Leonard units operated for approximately one hour.
