January 17, 2018

On January 17th, 2018 at approximately 0701 hours, the St. Leonard Volunteers were alerted to a chimney fire on the 500 block of Antelope Trail. Promptly Chief 7B, Engine 71, and Squad 7 responded. Chief 7B arrived on scene first to find a two story single family split foyer with a working chimney fire. Co.7 units immediately began extinguishment efforts and checked for extension. Units then found minimal extension to the attic area and cleared approximately one hour later.
